How to upload photos
- Click the Add Content link.
- Select the Photo option.
- Enter a title for your photo
- Upload your photo. Please note that file size should be under 2 megabytes. For viewing on screen based equipment this should be fine for the majority of cases. Try and keep the file type to jpeg.
- Optional: Enter a description of your photo and link it to a costume and any albums you want the photo in. You can only link photos to your albums and/or costumes once you've already created those albums and/or costumes. See below for more on albums/costumes.
Creating albums and costumes
Albums and costumes provides an easy way to organise your photos.
Using Albums you can have the one photo in many albums without the need for uploading to each album. For example, let's say you have a photo taken at a convention. You can choose to have that photo in a allum relating to that convention, an album of that specific character, an album for all cosplays pertaining to the year it was taken, an album show casing your favourite photos. That one photo now exists in as many albums as you want. Editing and updating that photo will also update it across all the selected albums instantly without the need to go it and alter them individually.
Costumes work in a similar manner but each photo can only be associated with one costume.
In order to assign photos to albums and costumes you must first create with them. Once created you can select them from the create or edit photo page. (Don't worry you can always add photos to albums/costumes later or change them at any stage by editing the original photo.)
How to create albums and costumes
- Click the Add Content link.
- Enter the name of the album or costume followed by a description.
